Description

As a leader in the IT industry and an expert in cloud solutions, SyselCloud is constantly expanding its product range. Your main role will be to help develop backup software within an OpenStack infrastructure and to support our various in-house development projects.

In particular, you will be involved in :

  • Analysis and understanding of the OpenStack project’s codebase, with a particular focus on the Freezer module
  • Understanding and integrating the OpenStack project’s contribution chain
  • Technical audit and status review of the Freezer project
  • Corrective maintenance and skills development
  • Development of new features
  • Draft and maintain documentation relating to development work
Qualifications
  • Students or recent graduates looking to gain initial experience
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Knowledge of the OpenStack ecosystem
  • Knowledge of the Linux and open-source world
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and systems
  • Knowledge of the SCRUM project management model and GitLab tools
  • Excellent ability to learn new programming languages
  • Perfect command of French and good knowledge of English
  • Organised and rigorous, with good stress and priority management skills
